Woops. Forgot to post this yesterday. Day 2 was “Tech Hero” and I wanted to do something a little different to I drew Sombra from Overwatch. Hero? Villain? Ehhh…
Andaran atish’an! My husband got a new iPad pro recently, and I tested it out with a quick sketch of my Inquisitor from Dragon Age: Inquisition. The pencil it comes with works leagues better than any of the styluses I’ve tried on my older iPad 3. Needless to say, I’m pretty jealous, and will definitely … More iPad Sketching…for the Inquisition!
As promised (for those actually reading), here are my drawings from this month’s Dr. Sketchys featuring Karma Jane. I mostly drew in pen this time around based on the success I had with it last time. There are also a couple of colored pencil drawings. I think I did much better this month. Still not … More Dr Sketchy’s: The Karma Kontraption
Apologies for the lack of posts. But don’t worry, I haven’t been doing nothing! I’ve actually got quite a bit to share. Last Wednesday I went to Richmond for the monthly Dr. Sketchy’s session. Our model this month was a contortionist! It was a lot of fun. I’ll be scanning my drawings to share tomorrow … More Website and Collaborations

I like to go to Dr. Sketchy’s because I think it is helping me learn to draw faster. Unfortunately, I had some trouble this time around, I think because I knew … More Dr. Sketchy’s – Chiara Scuro
Did another drawing with the brush pen. I know I need to stop drawing licensed characters, but I wanted to practice technique rather than design. I drew Huntress, because I wanted to color it, but still be able to use the pen for shading (the way they do in comics). The result is rather interesting. … More More Brush Pen Stuff
So I finally got around to drawing with Rob’s Pentel Pocket Brush pen, and I love it! It took some time to get used to, but I thought I’d share two pinups I did. I was trying to emphasize the lighting. It’s not bad, but I think it could be better. I really wanted to … More Pinups!
Well, I said I was going to post everything, so here’s what I’m working on now. It’s some line art still in the very early stages for a new painting. It’s influenced by the song “Sleepwalker” by Nightwish. Ever since the first time I’ve heard that song I’ve had this image in my head and … More Sleepwalker WIP
